When it's trying to do the update just cancel it, and then turn off auto-updates in Galaxy for Trails of Cold Steel IV. Cloud Saving works fine, and Achievements still unlock fine, so just continue on like normal.

Good to know achievements are still working, the cloud saving I confirmed yesterday. For me however, the auto-update option is disabled to uncheck. So the eternal loop keeps going on.

When the update is starting you need to abort the download before it fails. If the "Play" button is purple you can access those configure settings. Just abort the download before it fails, and it should be fine.

You can also just ignore Galaxy and just launch the game from it's own executable also if you want.

Outside of the missing launch week bonuses, the game is the same as it was a day ago. Bit of an annoyance at most, but just hang tight and it'll get resolved. I'm playing the game right now through Galaxy like nothing has changed.

I have the same problem. Although I know that this kind of thing rarely happens, it always makes me antsy. Especially because the extras vanished, both the launch week extras and the Digital Deluxe Edition extras, even if only temporary.

It's not a "Galaxy 2.0"-specific problem (although it may happen with that too).

The extras are still missing in Galaxy 1.2, and/or directly through the GOG website as well.

Probably best solution is to contact support.. The GOG supports doesn't usually check the sub-forums

hope its just an error for the placeholder for update 1.2 that is already on steam

By the way, the error message when the update fails says that I don't own a valid copy of this game, which is obviously untrue.

Indeed, the problem is fixed now.
Apparently, they had some difficulties with the servers, but everything's fine now. The extras are back and the game even managed to update to version 1.2 through GOG Galaxy without any problems.
