There seams to be a bug after the 1st Rivalry in cold steel 4 (no spoliers).

Once done you get your first 3 bonding points in the game, you can pick from 5 members on board, but no matter who you pick the last two always remain with the ! mark on them, you can try talking to them but it does not remove the ! mark, tried a couple combos to get past it trying different members, unfortunatly you can not progress beyond this point due to it..

please does anyone know how to fix this ?, it is annoying getting so far only to be stopped by this.

Probably should do some of those side quests and then talk to whoever's flying the ship at this point.
You'll be looking for red or green exclamation marks now.

There's no bug. The orange exclamation marks are faded out. It just shows there's a bonding event there, but you have no more points, so you missed those events.

Continue on with the game like normal, you don't need to talk to those characters at all. You won't get to see all bonding events on the first play through, because there's not enough points.

thanks i gave it a try, it unfortunatly it did not solve it, i could not leave the ship or travel to outstanding trail chests, i chatted with everyone again no joy, in the end i reset the pc and went back to just before the sol shrine rivalry, this time around it went ok i could select palm after the bonding sessions, it must have been a glitch.

its annoying getting stopped after 6 hours game play due to some glitch....

its ok also thought i missed something , it was a glitch the red ! did not fade, and i could not select anything using the x button, had a sleep then reloaded treid the suggestion, went back to the start of the sol shrine to solve the problem.

Despite this game being a good port there are a few annoying glitches that required a restart, for example during the black workshop fight at the end, i switched from altina to muse, but she did not appear, altina's picture stayed in place but no character appeared except the link circle, leaving the other 3 unusable, had to reload the game on that one and restart that fight, or minor ones like quest tab you can not scroll to the bottom of the list, i expect the next patch will sort them out..

these are not game breaking, but they do occure after a few hours of constant game play.......
