For CS1, no there isn't anything wrong with the Achievements. At least there didn't used to be back when I played it a year or so ago. But it's possible they could have become broken since then (in which case I wouldn't know for sure one way or the other if they are now broken or not).
For CS2, yes, there is something wrong with Achievements if you are using anything past version 1.4. At least, that used to be the case. It's possible they fixed the Achievements since then, but if I had to guess, my guess would be that no, they didn't. In which case you need to revert to v1.4 or earlier if you want GOG Achievements to work.

Also, for CS2 the overlay continues to be broken. According to GoG, the latest update "broke it" . And ofc nothing has been done about it from either side. I have contacted GoG support about this and they said that they are aware and it's being looked into. That was months ago.
