Little update here: NISA confirmed the announced Switch release date (april the 9th) is also the PC version's release date. Meaning that release should be in slightly over a month from now on.

Whilst that is true, I think a GOG release on April 9th is still likely.
I noticed they recently added Achievements to the features listed on the GOG store page for CS4. I'm pretty sure that feature wasn't there a month or two ago. So that means they've been paying some attention to the GOG release.
Hopefully they won't try to pull another fast one by leaving GOG customers with garbage placeholder Achievement icons whilst Steam customers get the real & good art icons, as was initially the case with CS3, until they thankfully decided to backpedal on that, and instead to do the right thing and give GOG customers the good icons too.
But at least they added Achievements this time, instead of going back to their old ways and treating GOG customers like second-class citizens, as all NISA games on GOG prior to CS3 still do. So I give them a modicum of credit for giving CS4 Achievements. But I simultaneously still don't respect how they refuse to fix their earlier GOG games by taking a few hours to add Achievements to them too (i.e Ys VIII).

I wish the GOG version released on April 9th or at least up for pre-order so I could buy it while I still have the money.

Cold Steel IV will be released on Steam within 2 days, but here on GOG the release date is still TBA.
Is GOG getting ANOTHER delayed release compared to Steam? I sure hope that's not the case, because I starting to feel really annoyed of being the second tier every time. Don't get me wrong, I prefer GOG far above Steam.... For now. But this feeling is really now starting to decline after having all these delayed releases and delayed updates.

Ok - Thanks.
To make sure I can get the game decided to buy it at a later time. I already bought some other software updates (Bitwig renewal), so I will wait for later this month. I will be busy with that software for some time now. That makes the exact release date of CS4 less important.
I am sure it will be already released by the time I am ready to buy it.
