What exactly does that mean? Will it work with a XBox 360 wireless gamepad?
Probably. Those receivers tend to be USB.
Be careful if trying the gamepad, the other site has issues with using controllers for this title. Apparently it has something to do with the Dpad & analog. Hopefully it's not the same issue on the Gog.com version.

plays perfectly well with wired X360 controller for me via Windows 7 on a Samsung ultrabook.
I can only hope that it plays better than with mouse and keyboard. I have to right-click everything for some reason.

It's a bug that causes the mouse settings to have the wrong default-values. You can change those values in the configuration utility. (be sure to run it as admin) It's in the mouse-subtab of the input-tab.
Apparently, these have been fixed in a recent Steam patch.

Dunno if it's been pushed to GOG yet, but it will be soon if it hasn't already.
To those experiencing issues, have you tried the patch (2.0.1.3)?

I simply reconfigured the keyboard. Love your avi btw. XD

Thanks! I like your Tron avatar. :)

It seems that the patch provides a decent default configuration now, including a working mouse config.
Works perfectly for me with my Buffalo SNES knock-off.
Doesn't seem to work with my PS3 controller's DPad, which is annoying. Is this game Direct Input only? I might need to use XPadder with this.
To summarize:
- XBox360 controller works just fine (I'm using it with no problems)
- Many of the default key settings are quite weird and you can't change them ingame
- There is however a config.exe that allows you to change the key setting (for all, mouse, keyboard and gamepad)
- This works for all keys EXCEPT movement keys, those will ALWAYS use the left analog stick on the gamepad and can't be changed, movement with D-Pad is not possible
- You also can't use directions on the D-Pad or right analog stick for other key assignments, they won't be detected, for example you can't set the camera movement to the right analog stick

The stuff with the right-stick, DPad, and the back two triggers (L2 & R2 on PS3, don't know what they're called on XBox) are all probably due to DirectInput only, as I suspected in my previous post. DirectInput doesn't read from those three things typically from my own past experiences. The right-stick issue is something new to me, but the latter two issues are common in games that don't support XInput.
