No, the non-Galaxy install created a Config in the Start Menu which is what I used first, and subsequent to that I tried all kinds of settings via the Config none of which allowed it to start.

Are we talking about FC? If so, I downloaded the normal installer through the website, installed and it launched fine for me. Galaxy has never touched this machine.

Any ETA on the patch for SC? The Steam version got updated several days ago to fix the right stick camera issue.

Yea, FC. I don't know when you bought/downloaded it, but I did it recently, after the patch.

Bought, downloaded and played a while ago, but I just downloaded the current installer before I posted to check how the newly encoded videos played (fine). The new install started without any problems. I've seen other people have problems starting some other games when they had an old Galaxy install sitting around.

I have no idea if the videos would have played correctly, it never got that far :D

There seems to be a patch/update downloading. Does anyone know where I can find the patch notes?

The newest patch adds achievements for the Galaxy client. You can verify what features are added by first clicking on your Account tab, then accessing the game page in your library (Legend of Heroes), and finally clicking on "Change Log."

The newest patch still doesn't solve the Heaven's Eye bug. It still does not work as intended. No red dots show up on the screen when it is equipped.

Any ideas when a new patch will be out to fix the Heaven's Eye bug where monsters don't show up on the mini-map? Apparently the Steam version had this fixed for quite some time already.

how is it possible that no patch for GOG has been released to fix a function that impacts directly within the gameplay? Does anyone else received any news from the devs?

i'm still waiting another new patch for Trails in the Sky SC for fixing the bugs, how long it is until going out and released. now it's already 4 months and there's still no new patch? in steam version there's so many bugs already fixed. what happened to the guys who handle this game? another slack off?

What bugs were there? I finished part 2 when it came out here and rhe only issue I had was the fishing achievement not working.

Bugs I knew about and can confirm that are fixed (I just checked):
- NG+ would only give you equipment/quartz that no character had equiped at the end of previous playthrough. You have a chance to unequip Joshua and Estelle before making clear save, but equipment on the other two party members was lost
- I didn't experience this myself, but if you imported both SC and FC clearsave, Estelle's level would be reset to 40 instead of the SC level. Now at Locle training camp I have Estelle 93 and Anelace 78
- Heaven's eye quartz was only partially working, you didn't get full monster stats after fighting them (lots of ????), and neither the red dots showed on minimap like they should. I just checked that the monster guide part works, getting visible minimap would require me to finish the sewers, so I'll just assume that it works too
