Nevermind apparently the patches are executable files of their own. durr.

KawaiiSara: A GOG patch is coming, I promise you. It's currently going through the process so to speak.
It's the first time I've noticed you here on the GOG forums - are you the programmer Sara from XSEED, or are you someone else? You should probably state somewhere on your profile if you're one of the people on the Dev staff so that people understand where you get your info from.

Hey there. Any ETA on the patch? Would love to buy it via GOG rather than Steam. Cheers!

The patch for the first game is now live and adds Galaxy achievements as well :)

Any changes besides that? From the fact that the first post says "Unofficial Changelog" I assume Xseed don't give GOG a changelog. Are the details in the first post simply based on observation after the fact?
Is it just me or does the game refuse to start after applying the patch? Config still works, but game doesn't run anymore. I don't have Galaxy installed, but I did notice Galaxy Communicatation Server briefly popping up in my process list even as the executable process immediately shut down.

Nice, I was afraid the first one got abandoned. I might just grab it while it's on sale this time.

Please try a fresh install (back up your saves!) and let us know if it still acts up :)

The game starts for me, but crashes at the point where the opening FMV is supposed to play. Also the "Falcom" ident video when the game starts is completely screwed up (double vision with two copies of the video side by side and the colours all messed up). I updated through Galaxy, going to see if a clean install fixes this.
I'm guessing that just loading my end of game savefile won't retroactively give me the achievements, right?

Gotta replay it anyway :D

Edit: Also noticed that my game crashed on the ending video (didn't even start). Updated through Galaxy.

That'll have to wait until tomorrow. But I'll give it a try.
If you're having trouble/crashes with videos, try running in windowed (borderless windowed is fine) if you are running in full screen, or vice-versa.
Hmm, yes, switching to windowed did fix the video crash.

I've also noticed a bit of stuttering in the game, but that's likely not even the patch's issue... I've last played it months ago and on a different OS.

Also my first achievement is now to complete the last chapter, lol.
