Hi,

I played this game now for a few hours and realized that it looks like that every NPC is walking against an object like crates, desks, shelves and so on when they are not quite doing a specific animation or you are not quite talking to them. It looks like a bug or is this normal in this game? I've never played the PSP version so I can't compare.

I truly believe that's the way it is.

It was pretty common to do that in old games. But maybe someone else can answer you better, as I didn't played other ports of this game as well.

This is normal. NPCs walk against objects in the PSP version as well. Like Arukaizer posted above, they do this a lot in old games as well.

I think the reason why NPCs walk in place is to show the player that they are engaged in some sort of activity, like organizing books.

Exactly :)
Thanks.
