Nezraddin: Another type of beginning-trouble:
Is it normal that at some point you rather should try to avoid fights instead of searching them?
I'm in chapter 1 so far (from what I can tell near the end of the chapter) and I get the feeling, that avoiding many monsters is kinda "needed".
Like all the physical-immune golden'bubble-monsters in the tower of the area. If I hadn't started avoiding fights I would have had no more SP in the middle of the tower... so are quiet some fights that simply feel like they're not worth the ressources you have to put in.
I already read that grinding is not really necessary and actually possible (unless you try this shining pom hunting), but I'm usually someone who "takes on every fight" in rpgs. But here is the first time I actually feel forced to avoid most of the fights cause they're just too expensive (ressource-wise, especially seen on SP).
So I wonder if I totally make something wrong with the quartz I'm using (already using this EP1 and EP'Cut1). So far Estelle has Healing and lil bit of Earth, Joshua Time and Fire and Scherazard has Wind and some Fire.
You're not doing anything wrong, saving resources by choosing the encounters like that is a common part in many RPGs.
