Steam forums are also easier to find and navigate than GOG forums.
Steam is also a much (much) larger community than GOG, and unlike GOG Steam actively fosters that community.

People mostly only come to GOG's forums to complain about something, seek technical support, or beg for a game to be added to the catalog. Like Klingon Academy. I mean, come on!
Totally agree on this one - GOG forums are total mess. You have to go to additional menu in your game library to get to the game forums or search for the game name and search is makes your browser to lag. I love GOG and buy all single player games here unless Steam offers significant (50-60% difference) discount, but forums are really bad compared to Steam ones. Post in General forums about this as it needs to be changed.

Also yeah, people are less active in everything related to actual game discussions, not bugs or technical stuff.

It used to be a pain, but they finally added a shortcut from Galaxy - just click more -> view forum on the game you want.

Also steam has probably around a 100 times bigger userbase, so there's that.
I confirm, it's easy now to post on the forum inside galaxy.

Bethezer: But this is not strictly technical forum, you know? Opinions and disscusions about the game itself are all welcome here as well. :D
True, but when i first started using GoG they primarily only had older games so the vast majority of the discussion was either troubleshooting or people asking for first time tips. This series is a bit more straightforward and as long as it runs well people probably play, enjoy and move on. Modern games don't have as many hidden archaic rules and tricks like say Wizardry 6's hidden miss rates or Realm of Arkania's tabletop tier skill set to overwhelm newcomers imo so you see less traffic than you would in those places.

Love the series, started FC yesterday and hoping it's patched and ready for the long hall! I am curious what bugs were around recently that i should be looking out for just in case i'm not properly patched? What needed fixing, does anyone have any recent changelogs?
Eh, the lack of posts is symptomatic for every subforum on GOG.com outside General Discussion. There's a flurry of activity as soon as the game is released, maybe another wave later if the game is on promo, but people generally come to solve technical problems and bugs, they rarely discuss actual gameplay or post their opinions about the game.
