While I support GOG.com a lot, as well as Steam. GamersGate is giving you both DRM free and Steam key too. So yeah best of both worlds.
Are you Sure? For me it only says that you get a DRM free version and not both a Steam key and a DRm free version...

I just bought it last night an it gave me the option to download the drm free version and a steam key. You have to download the drm free version when you buy the game then you go to my games and click download. The Steam Key is right below it.
I consider it a bonus not to have a game connected to Steam, so a key has no value to me.

I also consider it a bonus to be able to support the hard-line DRM free attitude of GoG, so that's added value to me.

To each his own, I guess.
Prefer GOG version over this . DRM-free doesn't mean they updating it regularly . Also GOG Galaxy coming . I am sure people see other's library with this and it will fix other social decisions .
Well that's good for people who want to have their cake and eat it too, but me I really could careless if I wanted a Steam version I would of just bought it on Steam. But that is just me.
FYI I can also verify this. I gifted the game on GG (whose store page says DRM-free) to a friend and he got a Steam key and says there's a download button.

I also do not know how GG handles updates.

I've also verified that the Steam version uses Steam CEG (i.e. Steam wrapper DRM) -- when you try to start the game without Steam started, it causes Steam to start.

Now before any of you get defensive, no one's saying you have to buy from them.
