The game opens for a millisecond, and then closes instantly.

Things I have tried - reinstalling the game and Galaxy, reinstalling directx, reinstalling visual C++, running as admin, starting in a window, starting in fullscreen, disabling movies, different resolutions, verifying the install.

Trying to get the game work with GOG support help currently without success so I am hoping other people had the same issue and managed to fix it.
