So can anyone answer the golden question?

:)

I have this one over steam and sadly there's barely any players active.. most people have to use discord or forums to coordinate fights.. If we purchase this version, are we going to have crossplay?

For the guys who bought it.. are you able to play fine with other galaxy clients?

From the description I also notice that Galaxy ver. is advertised to have Kyo 99, Flame Iori and Mr. Karate unlocked from the start.. can anyone post a screenshot from the char select screen? on the steam ver. you just have to push select in the controller while selecting the normal char to have the special ver.

Cheers and happy fights every1!

Honestly the only thing that keeps me away from these GOG/Steam fighting games is the absence of LAN. It is cool it has a matching server but it is a way faster if you can connect to IP. Especially if you have only one or two friends who plays the game and don't interested in random matches. Direct connection also solve the compatibility issue between GOG and Steam if there is one. By the way the store page has screenshot from the character selection screen.
No, no Steam/GOG crossplay. At least for a while.
