As some may know there are German subtitles available for part 3 on Steam. They are however in beta state but working fine. Since they are available for quite a while I asked the devs a few days ago when to expect those on GOG as well. They replied pretty fast and here's what they said:

"No I am sorry I can’t promise when the German version is up on GOG. We are beta testing new mac compatible versions on Steam first to make sure we don’t break anything when we update the builds. As soon as all versions are tested, we’ll update on GOG."


In case you don't want to wait so long I made a German language patch using the Steam version that is adding German text to the GOG version. You can find it here.

Unfortunately I can't because I did not make them at all - I just povide them as they are available in beta release on Steam. However I never had any part in actually creating them. I suggest you to contact the developer to figure out how to edit subtitles in the game. I might do some reseach as well but my chances are slim.

So you basically make an update for the game, that is great!!!! I contact the team behind the spanish translation, and they say it wasn't possible to work on the GOG vesion cause it's an outdated vesion, they use a program that extrac the archives and they need the two languages so they could modified the text. I contact the developer but they say that they can't update the game on GOG for the moment and they offer me a key for Steam, but I reject the key because I like my purchase here and I wanted the best for the gogers. Thanks to you I could finally used the spanish translation in my game too!!! So, can I propose you something??? If I could send you a DM even better... Please, let me know if it's okay for you!!!

No, it wasn't me who made that update. I only own the game on Steam as well and the translation file is working with the GOG version (which is not really outdated it simply never received the additional language beta update Steam received) as well. I simply took this file and uploaded it. Nothing of this (other than the uploading) was done by me. But if I understood correctly there was already a Spanish translation file that you could use in the GOG version as well? That's great. You don't ned to give me anything - like I said. I did nothing just forwarded a bit of information :) Hope you have fun with the game.

Hey, it's true!!! The game now works with the spanish translation!!!! So you basically take the files form Steam an you creat a "Fan Patch" for the game you make the work the developers refuse to make!!! Well done man!!! Thanks!
