I get a warning by a Avira Antivir about file
...\GOG.com\The Incredible Machine Series\The Incredible Machine 3\is-3P67K.tmp
Antivir claims its "TR/PSW.Agent.nxz' [trojan]"
Could well be a false positive, but I was wondering whether anyone else can confirm or deny this, maybe with a different virus scanner.

This needs immediate attention!

You could actually scan it yourself with something like panda online or kapersky has an online scanner as well. A false positive poped up in a different game, I can't remember which but several of the virus scanners flagged it. So you may want to contact gog support direct so they can sort it out and get in contact with the antivirus companys if it is indeed a false positive.

Okay, kapersky online scan tests negative.

Since it's a minority, I assume it's a false positive.

Avira gave me the same warning as well. I ignored it, but thanks GOG team for looking into it.

Running AVG here and had no warnings whatsoever. I manually scanned too. If anyone is getting a warning, just disregard it for the time being, and perhaps GoG will either fix the problem, or contact the AV software vendors so that they will fix it.

I had the warning on Antivir too before, but I just manually updated the antivirus definitions and now the warning is gone if testing the file.
So, just update your definitions and you should be fine!

If memory serves this isn't the first time Avira has given false positives on some GOG games. I'm guessing whatever kind of heuristics based scanning that particular AV employs is just a tad too aggressive.

I know this is an old thread, but wanted to add that AVG just starting flagging this game as a trojan as well. Obviously a false positive, and the only "fix" is to add an exception to AVG's scanner, but wanted to post it in case anyone else Googles for it and lands here.

Yup, same here. Ridiculous, I don't even know how to use the Ignore function yet... *grumbles* Stupid faulty learning game, making me learn things...

this time it flagged TIMHELP.EXE as infected by TR/ATRAPS.Gen

I told the scanner to ignore it but maybe somebody can tell the guys this so they can improve their algorithms.

Same problem here on TIMWIN3.exe with AVG.

Seems weird, but I am getting a trojan warning on this as well on a freshly installed current version and updated McAfee antivirus. I would have thought this to be cleared up by now.
