I'm currently playing TIM 3.0. Is there a way to get the original CD audio soundtrack working with the game? I'm kinda spoiled by having the full blown CD audio soundtrack with actual songs, and not just MIDI.
Thanks!

There's also a CD-ROM version of The Even More Incredible Machine that has redbook audio and voices. Based on the download size, I'm guessing it's not included here. Nor the redbook audio for TIM 3.0. In fact, I would be surprised if both Contraptions and Even More Contraptions were included without something ripped.

Nope. Contraptions and Even More Contraptions have all voice and audio. Nothing ripped here.
I'm wondering the same thing. Is it included? Because the CD-ROM version of TIM 2 had a really nice soundtrack with at least a few clever and funny songs. It really wouldn't be the same without it.
This is what I mean: The Incredible Machine rap. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRmioyij-sQ
Here are the rest: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=AA37B0895CB2E2E0
Contraptions features the TIM 2 soundtrack, so if you want to hear it, you can play Contraptions.
TEMIM also had a CD-ROM version with voices and soundtrack, and I'm positive that it is omitted from the collection - the redbook audio alone would make it larger than 373MB.
Don't bother looking for it on Youtube. You might find something claiming to be it, but all it is is MIDI. Here's a sample of it, which I own:

I hope GOG can make it work... As much as I love MIDI... TIM 3 is one game I think is 1000x better with the actual music.
It would have been better if they used TIM 2 instead of TIM 3. The puzzles are exactly the same, and since it's DOS, they could easily mount a CD-ROM image into DOSBox.
Good question. I own the actual CD, and I have not been able to stream the CD music from it under Windows XP.
I actually have some really fond memories of playing TIM 3 with the original MIDI music, but when I started playing it on my XP machine (GOG version), I run into all sorts of sound issues- MIDI instruments going berserk, songs changing the way they sound from play to play, etc. Not sure whether this is an issue with the GOG revamping, XP, my MIDI hardware, or none of the above...

Yeah, I never actually played the game with the MIDI soundtrack until the GOG version. I'm used to the full-blown CD audio that was totally awesome.
I love GoG, but this seems to be happening a lot. Even if they can't get it working, I would love to at least have the CD audio available for download in WAV, FLAC or something similar.

It IS available for download to listen. The soundtracks extra.

I see now. I guess there is no way to load it up in game.
Now, if I could only get the audio tracks for the Capitalism games.
