How good is this game with Linux and Wine? I want to play it, but not if it does not work in Linux.

I can install the GoG installer via PlayOnLinux and then changing POL's settings but it always gives

"Access Violation Error" which is apparently to do with multi-threading. I've used a tool from Microsoft to limit the .exe to 1 core but it still gives the error. Changing resolutions and running windowed doesn't seem to work. Really it needs to be entirely repackaged with fixes to the code it's not remotely user-serviceable.
