Stupid question. Now that it is regionally priced: Are you going to add the German language files anytime soon?

I doubt it, if it's actually a rights issue. The regional pricing didn't change the publisher, only its pricing. Hence they're just demanding more now, but still don't own the rights for the German version or aren't allowed to use them internationally due to contracts :-/

Being from germany you should be familiar with daedalic's special prices for de, at and ch ;) I think "rights issues" are solved now.

Yep, you might be right ;-) Still, the distributor for Chains of Satinav in DE, AT and CH is KochMedia and I wouldn't be surprised if Daedalic and KochMedia agreed on the exclusive distribution of the German version by KochMedia. No regional pricing would have any effect on this. Koch Media is known for harsh rights enforcing. They've got a strong market position in German speaking countries and they're willing to fight for it, not for the benefit of gamers of course.

Count me in. I too didn't check if the game also had German text and Voice.
I simply jumped at the opportunity to buy it when it first came to GoG.

But as an fan of Das Scharze Auge, I would prefer this Title in German.
As an old DSA player, having Aventurien in English is plainly weird.

I got this and The Whispered World during the latest big sale: the latter has the original German voice pack (now), and I have been playing it with that and English subtitles. I also played Memoria on Steam that way, so I was surprised to find this is only the English version. Does anyone know of a fix yet?

Here is a funny thing and probably) the solution to all your prayers.
I heard abot this crazy easter-egg sex thingy and wanted to know it it is real. It is and the uncensored version is contained on the German retail DVD which I have and which unfortunately uses Steam. So to prevent Steam to update the game and censor it I used a tool found on the net to extract the files manually. Then I tried to find out which file is responsible for the censored version and I found out that it is the data.vis (around 89MB). The funny thing is that on the DVD there are several data.vis files each for one language and this seems to be the only file you'd need to change. I tried it with my Steam version and managed to get the game in english (text and audio) just by changing this file so I bet it also goes the other way. Here youz can download the German file:
