Is it possible to change language in the gog-version of the game? I also would like to have the german audio, not text only.

Ack, since its available in german it would be nice if I could get it in german too.
Yeah, i hope this ist just a little mistake like with Deponia 2. When it was available for preorder there was only english listed, this has been rectified since.
I'd like to know if there is any plan to include the German localization -or rather, the original version- as well. If that were the case, I'd buy the game immediately.

On a side note, while I do not really expect GOG.com to support all the localizations of a given game, if said game was not originally released in English, I would like to be able to play at least the original version. This applies particularly to Daedalic's games, since their past record on translations is not exactly stellar.
Also looking for the German version. As soon as German language is confirmed, I would buy the game. So far I prefer to wait (and maybe buy elsewhere). Why the original version is not included at GOG?

Might have something to do with the fact that Satinavs Ketten is twice the price than the English only version here.

I would buy the game on GOG if it would be additionally released in the original German language, but somehow I do not see this happen as of now.

Hoffen wir das beste. ;)
Don't make a mistake, it needs not only a German version but also a major bugfix. Don't even think of buying it until then...
I don’t think there will be a German version, because the publisher is – as stated incorrectly on the game info page – not Daedalic itself but Deep Silver (Koch Media). The issue is the same like with The Whispered World which has the same publisher. The German version costs more than twice as much as the international English version. Deep Silver wants to earn money, and Daedalic is just the developer with no influence on the price.

Deponia on the other side is published directly by Daedalic, so they can do anything with their game, e.g. sell all language versions for the same price.

This leads to two questions:
1. Why does Daedalic not publish their newest games by themselves? They have much experience as a publisher.
2. Why does GoG do not list the correct publisher (Deep Silver) for Dark Eye and Whispered World? Or maybe I am wrong and Daedalic has the right to publish the international (English) version by themselves, but Wikipedia (the English pages!) states otherwise.
ZivilSword's post is interesting.

I was thinking that the addition of German language would be just a matter of time.
May anyone of GOG.com's staff inform us if we will see the German version here?

It's strange. Some of their titles are on here, like Edna & Harvey, yet others like A New Beginning aren't. I wonder if it's to do with the distribution licenses? Their UK releases are distributed by Lace Mamba, I believe, but still retain Deep Silver markings...

Weird.
I would also like to raise my voice for a "vote".... there should be a German version !
(and I do not give a cent about the "opinion" of whatever publisher. I only buy DRM-Free games. Steam and CDs/DVDs with rootkits etc. are a complete no-go for me. )

German version sure would be nice!
I'm also voting for a German version, especially after this incredible sale!
Without a German version is it a no buy for me.
i have bought it as Christmas sale and i am hoping for, maybe in the near future, adding of German language packs for this and whispered world. And even so, it is a great game. Yeah, i also would appreciate a direct publishing, maybe this is also planned?? Who knows.
