I can't start BOUT2. It just tries to load but never leaves the desktop and I get a winged popup saying the game couldn't start.

I just now uninstalled, redownloaded, reinstalled, and it's version 2.1.0.1

I clicked the "more" dropdown box and there is no patch there.

I have windows 8.1

After years I just tried Dl'ing it and trying again - still not working.

"An unhandled win32 exception occurred in BouT2.exe [a different 4 digit number is here everytime]"


Does anyone know how I can fix this? Have been wanting to play this game badly since it first came out
