Yes.

If you buy the 2004 Bard's Tale game, it includes the option to play the classic trilogy. Once you start the trilogy this way, you will find the disk images somewhere on the computer to use with the emulator of your choice. (I don't remember where the images are stored.)

This will give you the Apple 2GS versions of Bard's Tale 1 and 2 and the Apple 2 version of Bard's Tale 3. Having played these versions, I would say that they're all good versions of these games. (Apple 2 BT3 is *far* better than the DOS version, as that version just has too many bugs for me to recommend, and they tend to be bugs that make the game less fun and less interesting.)
Yeah, I really meant the DOS versions. :(

I might get the Apple ones with the 2004 release since it has ok discount at the moment but I'm not really happy with that.

I have in the original box the dos version of all three games on 5 and 1/4 inch disk.

It has been years since I've been able to play them. I'm not even sure where I'd get a workable disk drive to play these games on disk

Oh, I have all the hardware to play these. Found the games from the net too. Just have to use my Celeron to write them on discs so I could play them on my 486. Or use DOSBox, which isnt that bad either.

I'm still considering to buy these simply to have them on my GOG library. The price is quite reasonable right now afterall. Not like some other games though.
