No matter what I do I can't kill this Arch Mage.
He starts with no armor, but my attacks
on him do not do enough damage, and
then his goblins pound my party and his
armor goes up to almost 9-10 and then
my party members start getting slaughtered.
What's very bad is when after I kill his first
order goblins, he materializes another
round of goblins.
I am a Fighter and I have Fiona the Bard,
Crux, Wringneck, and Dalgliesh in my
party and we just can't
do it.
We are all Level 12..
What am I doing wrong?
I've read about "focusing" to
interrupt his attacks but
how do I do that?
About ready to delete this from from my drive,
but I hate to do that because I got a
new computer and now I can play this
on a high resolution and really like it,
but this fight seems so unbalanced.
Help PLEASE.

I don't remember that exactly battle, but the focus can be broken only with mental attacks. Your mages/practitioners are the best candidate for doing this kind of attack (e.g. Mangar's Mind). Bards can also do it if I remember well, but with less frequency. And rouges, I think they need a little more of level before getting an amazing mind attack.

Don't forget that you can recast all your stats from one or more characters at the Adventurer's Guild. Including getting another character to complement your party if required.

P.s. If you usually don't make use of meditation on your battles, for this one it may become a key component for breaking that boss's focus frequently.
