I'm at the "Into the Wood" part, the land has been cursed by a giant hand, I'm supposed to talk to the Fichti leader, and I have noplace to go. Everywhere is blocked by brambles.

I solved it. If anybody else gets stuck like me, I'll just say this - look for a staircase that is extremely well hidden due to the washed-out color palette.
