So I just completed this one for the first time, yay! And it was a good enough game that I want to jump right back in and try it again HOWEVER - I know it's a planned trilogy and I know it's from Bioware alums... so I want to hold on to the final, completed savegame. I'm afraid if I just hit restart or new game I'll lose my first "official" final game save (the one that has the decisions / stats / characters etc that I'd want to carry over, would that be possible). Anyone have any good ideas? As simple as going into the folder structure? Did anyone replay and have an idea of how your initial playthrough's final save was handled?

Hm, I just checked and couldn't find the save game files, either. However, I have to thank you for your post, because, as I was poking around in the game folder, I discovered that the game comes with its full soundtrack in MP3 format.

If you still did not manage to figure this out, maybe it'd be best to just ask the developers and/or make a post at the official forum.
Hi! Thanks for the reply and that's good to hear about the soundtrack... it was very beautiful and atmospheric to boot, we'll see if it ends up playing on more than my computer speakers now. And ya, I might just have to do what you suggest, thanks for looking though!
If anyone else wanted to hang on to a save game so they could restart and have their "proper" playthrough saved for (hopefully!) later use I found my saves!

C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\TheBannerSaga... a subfolder or two deep in there

You may have to show hidden files to see AppData... and this file path was for Win 7 - I imagine it's similar for other Windows OSes
Thanks for the tip!
