So, I'm 100% certain I've finished every puzzle except the microscope.

I know I need to check the hint book three times, but the hint book says "The puzzle is solved" and if I click on it, it takes me to a different puzzle.

I wandered around for an hour looking for anything to help change this, and when I finally got it to change, it acted as though I hadn't finished the grate puzzle in the maze that I'd completed hours ago.

I went through the grate puzzle and the maze again, and now when I click the hint book it says, "The puzzle is solved" and bounces me to the end of the crypt puzzle. Huh?

Any thoughts?

If no one has a clue, can anyone share a saved game pre-knife puzzle so I can finish this frickin' game? =)

It sends you to the puzzle that you were last trying to solve. My guess is that by going to the crypt, you made the game think you were trying to solve the cypt puzzle, so it teleported you there instead. As to the grate puzzle, that one *always* resets every time you visit it, even if you have solved it (iirc). Try accessing the microscope puzzle again, then going straight to the library and reading the book without doing anything in between.
