I am trying to solve the fireplace puzzle where you have to remove 9 bars.
The description says "So many squares, they must be broken".
I am not shure witch squares are meant.
there are 16 little squares and ~10 bigger squares.
Wich ones do you mean?
And does a rectangle count as square?
He means ALL squares - 16 1x1's, 9 2x2, 4 3x3's, and 1 4x4.

Rectangles are okay.
You need to remove one from the outer box, so there is no 4x4 square left.
and then pay attention to have no 2x2s or 3x3s.
