Hi all,

We have uploaded the latest version of Tesla Effect, 1.2, in the form of Universal updates for both Mac and PC. Please doanload these Universal Updates to get version 1.2 of Tesla Effect and to get the Italian subtitles :)

Changes:

a. Italian translations! Tesla Effect is now available in Italian.

b. Changes to the French, German and Spanish translations. We submitted
a portion of our ‘Strings’ document to be re-edited by our professional
linguists.

c. The rotating Crypt / Tomb puzzle in Sesen had tested the Frame Rate
for several users. The art has been updated, and the amount of dynamic
lights has been decreased. That area will run much faster now.

d. The problems with the: Magnetic Resonator puzzle and the River
Crossing Puzzle have been fixed.

e. The Sound Effect Files have been added to the Final Puzzle.

f. The cooling rods in the Titan Reactor have been fixed – some users
found the ability to interact with them from incredible distances.

Please note that this patch introduces a new bug in the TSL security room - loading a save game after activating the door will yield an invisible wall which will require you to reload the area.
BFG have been notified (and will hopefully resolve this soon).

I flagged the patch as that is the update. We didn't change anything with the 15+ GB installer.

It looks like we need to re-download the whole 15gb version 2.0.0.9 to use the patch.

Most of us day 1 downloaders got version 2.0.0.7

That makes no flipping sense if you ask me, they want us to download this again just so we are able to update it? This has to be one of the most oddest things I've ever heard of in my life!

0.7 was up for a short while before being replaced with the better compressed 0.9, unfortunately the patch will only agree to patch 0.9

Erh YES;-) I DO know that since i downloaded the bloody game at may 7!

What about 0.7 savegames - anything I would like to know there?

From what I've seen from the Steam version the save games are compatible (but naturally, glitches can always occur in such cases).

I'd like to take this time to thank the developers fore the auto saving mechanism that generates a new save each time you are headed for an important conversation, it really makes life easier :)

Hi all,

We will be uploading a patch for the PC version of Tesla Effect that will take the earlier (version 2.0.0.7) installer into account so you won't have to re-download the entire thing all over again. Sorry for the mix up.

OK the new Universal update should be ready to download for those of you with the 2.0.0.7 version of the original installer. Please re-download the universal update as soon as possible. Thanks :)

Sure, wrong word. I meant that the game is not reported as updated, it doesn't matter if it is the main installer or the patch that changed/was added.

Well, I know I flagged the installer so if something is not showing up where it should be, please send an email to our Support department as that is a website bug :)
