I'm using a fairly old gamepad, a Logitech Dual Action. Looking through the list of devices, I can see that it's installed and it even works well when playing Descent: Overload. But Tesla vs. Lovecraft doesn't recognize it, doesn't even try, and there's absolutely no validation on the controller configuration page for whether or not it's picking up the controller. It would be nice to see "Controller found" or "Controller not found" or "Controller found but not recognized" or... or something!

This come looks super-nifty, but I'm not playing it through the #@$#% keyboard. Help?

When I launched the game on it's own in Linux, it wasn't seeing my Xbox One controller (connected through bluetooth). When I added it as a non-steam game and launch through Steam, the controller was picked up and I was able to use it.

Not the best solution, but at least it works!
Same problem for me! I tried 3(!) different controllers that all work for other games under Linux, but non is working with Tesla vs. Lovecraft.
I bought this game because of the the coop mode and this bug makes it essentially useless to me =/
Please fix this!
Hi,

We are looking into this issue.
Hi,

the Linux version has been updated and Xbox One controllers should work now. Please let me know if there are any issues with the new version.

Our Linux games run on SDL 2, which provides all gamepad functionality. Unfortunately we don't have resources to add additional gamepad support for gamepads not supported by SDL 2.

Same issue on the Mac using Logitech dual action. Are you using SDL 2 there as well? I bought it to use the the co-op play with my kid.

I experience the same with Xbox One Wireless on Debian testing, both with Tesla vs Lovecraft and Crimsonland.

The controller works in Stardew Valley and Race The Sun, when connected either via Bluetooth or USB. Controller's driver is xpadneo.

Linux Mint 20.3 here, neither XInput nor DInput gets recognized on my Logitech F310.
