There is a corner in the tunnel section which I simply cannot pass, my ship keeps crashing to the wall until its shield depletes. I've tried to roll the ship, to change the view etc. to no avail.
Is there a trick I don't know? Or does it depend on pure luck to advance? Or is it a bug?

Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: Ok, I managed to solve it. Strangely enough, all I had to do was to set the graphics level to "high" (the default setting was "low"). I also realized, though, that it looks so much nicer this way, now I'll have to play through the game again to see it with the "real" graphics. :)

I got my hopes up when I saw the subject of the post. I'm stuck in the exact same location. It's a door that is about 1/4th open and you can't pass.

I have been playing on the highest graphics setting this entire time, so I will have to solve the problem in some other way. Help!

I'm stuck at the same place with the same problem. It almost looks like one of those static walls that covers half the tunnels was misplaced, and instead covers around 90% of the tunnel width. Changing the graphics settings does nothing. I realize the chances are slim that anyone has a solution, seeing how this question went unanswered for half a decade, but still - any ideas?
If you get stuck, hit the afterburner. You'll punch through it with some energy loss to your shields.
