The title says it all. The main question is at the bottom.

I know there is one in the Temple, but I got that long ago and sold it .... I only replay this and Arcanum about once a year so I completely forgot that I would need it later.

I have a 3 character party - Cleric, Fighter, and Rogue. So no scribing it.

I am at the very end before Z, so no more battles to level up an NPC who maybe could scribe it (although I've thought about getting that mage at the Hommlet Inn and random battle leveling until he can scribe it ... but I'm not looking forward to the amount of time that would take ...)

Here's what I've already tried:
1. At Hommlet Guard Tower, I've waited days and checked for the scroll at the downstairs vendor about 5-6 times - no luck.
2. I went to Nulb and checked the tattoo house upstairs vendor, but that's only healing scrolls. Same with St Cuthbert's.

Does anyone know a vendor that carries this? Or an NPC that does that I can steal it from (my Rogue is amazing)?

Ok. Figured a way myself, and I'll post it here if anyone else has this problem.

I decided to recruit the mage scholar at the Hommlet Inn after all, since he already has "scribe scroll" and is at level 2 (or lvl one? idk, starts with 1000xp).

I then picked a route to Nulb and got attacked right away. Since I only have 3 members (until this mage), they are level 13 I believe, so the enemies they face are strong (I have Co8 v8.1 installed). I quickly moved the new mage to the far rear of the party and easily wiped out the weirdly exotic enemies .... BOOM! He leveled just from that (he got a little over 2000xp, split four ways, just from that battle.

Viola!
I was able to choose the level 2 spell "Gust of Wind" and then scribe it (Co8 must have fixed that, because all my google searches spoke of not being able to scribe scroll that spell).

So if anyone has this problem like I did, and searches the board for "Gust of Wind" like I did, they won't come up empty .... like I did.
