I and a fellow modder have just released Temple+, a ToEE engine enhancement mod.

It fixes many bugs, especially Win10 compatibility issues, and adds a whole bunch of features and improvements to the game engine. Check it out!

I and a fellow modder are working on a ToEE engine enhancement mod called TemplePlus, aiming to improve the engine in various ways and fix the hardcoded bugs that even the Co8 mod couldn't address.

For example we have already fixed notorious bugs like the Scather/Fragarach bug, added entirely new feats like Greater Weapon Specialization, and even the Disarm ability. We've added the ability to temporarily leave PCs n the Hommlet inn, and made the party PC/NPC composition ratio flexible. And much more.

It is currently in alpha testing, and once we're done adding all the desired features for v1.0 we'll formally enter Beta.

Yes, in fact I do most of the testing on top of co8 8.1. I've already posted updated Co8 files for compatibility, and will eventually pack them together with Temple+ as a Co8 compatible release. You should also be able to play on the unmodded GoG version, but really co8 already has so many fixes that I consider it as a default.

Older versions of co8 won't be supported however, and the KotB mod might need a little update as well.

Great news! The new pathfinding especially is smoooootttthhhh.

Alright! I'll totally use this on my next playthrough of ToEE. Finally, I'll be able to use Scather in the Fire Node and get my revenge on that stupid Balor without soft-locking the game.
