For those who don't know about this nifty pack: as the authors put it, it's "A bugfix, rules compliance, and expanded content modification for Troika's 'The Temple of Elemental Evil.'". It's really massive, and in my humble opinion, it's a must have - you should play pure vanilla ToEE only to learn the basics of this game.

awesome, thanks!
Great! Thanks for the link.
I wonder if we will DOS them in the following days :D
Now if it will work with the GOG version.....
I think you meant this link:

If anyone's having trouble installing, install the "Atari patch 2" to get rid of "Atari patch 3":

"STEP 4: DO NOT INSTALL ATARI PATCH 3

You SHOULD NOT install Atari's patch 3, since it's not compatible with this mod. The only additional feature patch 3 contains anyway is a fix for the infamous DirectX 9.0c looting bug. But this particular issue is also addressed by the Co8 modpack. If you have installed patch 3 already and want to get rid of it, just install patch 2 overtop of it."

Other mods are here (and maybe elsewhere) if someone wants to make a seperate guide (I've never played or tried them):

Most likely 3. I'll find out for you in about 10 mins.

Edit: readme and the game itself don't appear to say. I'll try installing the pack now.

Getting some weird errors when trying to install the ModPack.(win7 32bit)

Installed the GOG version of the game
Copied Co8 files to the installation directory
Ran TFE-X.exe as admin
Activated the Module but when I click "Play" I get a fatal error saying I need to run it from the root directory.
Downloaded the Atari Patch 2 but it just says it can't find ToEE on my computer ...

Any one got it to work?

*Update*
Seems like was an error caused by the Antivirus, clean install and allowing it on the AV fixed it

Win7 x64..didn't have to run as admin. Seemed to install fine (I allowed it through MSE).

When I tried to 'activate' the mod, it hanged. When I ran the frontend again, it said to install patch 2. =/

Edit: ran the repair utility, fine now. It still hangs but if you just keep waiting it will work.

Works dandily. Screens below.

So did you need to install the 2nd patch?

Nope.
You should absolutely not play the game without this modpack, it fixes so many major bugs from the official release it isn't even funny.
