Hello, one and all!

We would like to thank the GOG team massively for their support in getting our strange little game listed on GOG!

TANGLEWOOD is a brand new cinematic puzzle platforming game for the SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis, created using software, tools, equipment, and programming languages of the 1990s. Now also available on Windows, Mac, and Linux, right here on GOG!

The game has a rather strange development history, and following its successful Kickstarter campaign we were featured on BBC News, covering our dev process and the whys and hows of our madness in bringing this game to life!

Everything was programmed using pure assembly language, on actual SEGA development kits. To keep the release as true to its roots as possible, the GOG version also includes the Mega Drive ROM file* for you to play on your very own SEGA console (using a flash cartridge) or your favourite emulator!

The game is also available to buy on a physical Mega Drive cartridge from our website (we're unable to provide a link to sales pages here, as per GOG's terms & conditions, but we're easy to find).

Please let us know if you need any help getting up and running!

*a DRM-free ROM, of course ;)
Looks very promising! Will there the OST be available somewhere (here or bandcamp)?

What a true labour of love this game is! :) Thanks for releasing it DRM-free. I just bought my copy mere minutes ago and I can't wait to play it. From what little I saw in the trailer, I too am seduced by the soundtrack. Hope it'll be released on GOG some time in the near future.

By the way, loved the interview you gave at RetroRBG: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDYsJClZB84
