Hello,

I just bought and installed the game on my linux machine.

I am blocked on the welcome screen asking me if I want to register an account or not.

While I can mouse the mouse cursor around, the window button are not responsive to mouse click, preventing me from going further.

The only error I see when starting the game from the terminal is the following one.

Loading WebCore: Failed loading /home/roland/games/gog.com/Tales of Maj'Eyal/game/lib64/libte4-web.so: libgcrypt.so.11: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

However, could this be the source of the problem?

The library is present in game/lib64, so I don´t understand why libte4-web.so, complains it does not find it.

Finally, to terminate the program, I need to force kill the t-engine64 process.

Any Idea why mouse events does not seems to be catched by the game interface, and how to solve this issue?

I will close this post the problem seems to solved itself.

I tried to play today, and the game responds, now to mouse clicks or any input event.

This only difference from yesterday, is a system update that I pergorm before playing and the fact that steam was running.

Regarding steam, I start it and start the game afterward, but the game is still responsive to input events, so it doesn't seems steam is the culprit, hier.

Anyway as said in the introduction, I close this topic.
