I know this is in Dev, and these things can take time, so I'm curious does anyone know what kind of update cadence is being used here? Or even when the last updated was applied/next update is planned?
Imagine the amount of work and effort goes into making a game, then releasing it in a beta state for money, and not even bothering to say hello on the forums or any interaction at all with your customer base. Pathetic.
Imagine not being a douche and checking out steam forums....

At the moment (17.07.2021) the GOG version of the game is 1.01a, that is the same as on Steam. I bought this game even before it was split in two games and so far the Devs have kept the game up-to-date on GoG quite consistently, I think the cadence is about the same as it is on Steam. Tho, that is only true for the bare updates, since in terms of communication with the community, the Devs only ever care about Steam, sadly.

This is a copy from Steam, where the Devs thank the STEAM community for their support....

German, Polish, and French - now available! Version 1.01 is live :)
Hello everyone! Today we have a really big patch for you, and - if you're in a hurry, here's a tl;dr!

It contains
The pre-final version of Translations
A lot of fixes and improvements
Plenty of balancing-related changes

But before we get to that: we'd like to THANK YOU once again for your support. We've passed 2000 reviews on Steam this week and we're still at Very Positive... We honestly couldn't be more thankful! Thank you all for supporting us and being here with us - it means A LOT. And we hope that even a brief look at the changelog of today's patch will show it that we take your feedback seriously!

(And even if sometimes we might seem slow with addressing reported issues - well, that's probably because the issues are harder to tackle than it might seem.)

Also, we'd like to take this opportunity to send our thanks to all the YouTubers and Streamers who decided to cover our game. We really appreciate your willingness to cover less known titles and actually play indie games together with your audiences.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!"

Well, if you ask me, that quite rude to exclude the entire GOG community, despite taking their money aswell...buuut that's just my opinion^^
