That is very unusual. Savegames usually stored in the user directory, like
/Users/Username/Library/Application Support/Tahira/...
But for Tahira the Savegames are stored inside the App:
/Applications/Tahira Echoes of the Astral Empire.app/Contents/SaveGames
If you reinstall the App or update the App, all savegames are lost in that case. Other problem: all users of the installed App share the same savegames. User A can delete or load savegames of User B.
