"the moving white circle around Tahira..." - there is no circle
"the blue squares are the squares...." - there are no blue squares
"now click on the Confirm Move Tile to..." - there is no Confirm Move Tile

wtf - I can not play over this point. I have to exit the game, no way to start the fight.

Mac OS 10.10.5
last version of Tahira

This may be a GPU driver issue. Attached is what it should look like. You may want to email the devs. How did you install/what specific installer did you use? I can likely check on a 10.12.x Mac sometime next week, but that's unlikely to fix it for you.

I am having exactly the same issue.

Any luck resolving this?

Exactly the same thing happened to me except I'm running Windows...

However, I think I've found a fix - start a completely new game and chose a different difficulty level. I'd originally chosen Wayfarer and the game had the same results as you, I then created a new game and chose Voyager difficulty and the tutorial worked as it should. I then created yet another new game back on Wayfarer difficulty and everything is still OK. Hopefully this will work for you too - good luck :)

Try creating anew game on a different difficulty level, playing through to where the bug hits, then close the game. Create a new game using a different difficulty level and play through again and this time (fingers crossed) the tutorial should do as it is supposed to do! You can then exit the game and then create a new game on your desired difficulty level and it should be OK. Good luck :)
