PinkPrincessRei: the release date for system shock was set to be august 31 when i preordered it like a week ago. That means within a single digit number of days from the release date, they delayed it with no announcement. And I don't believe for a second that the new date of December 31, 2021 is real either, that reeks of a placeholder date because they dont want to outright admit that this game won't be done until 2022 or later.
Noishkel: I did the exactly thing myself. Even pushed to make sure I had this game pre-ordered so I could also get the enhanced edition. I just happened to look on my account this even and noticed that the release date was in like 129 days or something.
*sight* situations like this is why no one really should preorder anything.
Yup, I preordered to get the enhanced edition, and because i foolishly trusted that if a release date's been posted, it means something. I haven't been using gog for that long, so I naively assumed that if a game has a release date set, that means things are like, set to go, confirmed. At least I know for the future now. The fact that there hasn't even been any communication or acknowledgement from nightdive about this is really not a good sign. I'm half expecting the game to be silently cancelled and delisted from storefronts before december 31. Or who knows, maybe the date will just keep getting pushed ahead forever in the hopes that we'll eventually forget about it.
