The new System Shock source port was released in Steam a couple of hours ago.

How long we should wait for the same update for GOG release?

I would like to know this as well - it would be awesome if the GOG version got updated too.
According to a contact I have at Nightdive he did send in the update to GOG tonight, however since no one is in the offices at GOG for a bit it could take a while

A day or too at most if it doesn't come in 48 hours, I will annoy support about it.
Thanks for this information :) There is a chance then we will see it next week :)
I'm also looking forward to this. Do they intend to release the source code?

They released the source code a while ago. I think this is what you are looking for.
Thanks, but that's not the source of the new release. It's the base for that, i think, but a lot of further development must have gone into it.

I have the same error after update.
Same problem for me too. I get the splash screens and the intro, then a little error message (literally just says error) and then crash to desktop.
same error here.

You can try ( I only recommend this as a SUGGESTION if you feel uncomfortable doing this then dont.

Try what user ps47.3dfx suggests Here

I dont know if this will work

If you dont feel up to it try contacting nightdive via twitter or facebook about it

thats the best I can recommend at this time.
