Hey there, Gogernauts.

I've got System Shock 2 and I'm rather enjoying myself, but I'm not sure if I'm using the right EXE to play it. See, I'm using a Wine loader (specifically, PlayOnLinux), and it asks me after installation to choose a shortcut for the game. However, both start.exe and shock2.exe seem to do the same thing on the surface. is there any difference between the two, and which should I use to play the game?

What was the difference now again?

It's just something GOG thought they needed to add to prevent potential problems. It's explained well here:
