Hi there!

Is there a way to get this AWESOME animation of Shodan from the frontpage?
I would like to use this as Dreamscene Wallpaper.

It's a JavaScript animation. If you want it in another form, you're going to have to video capture it.

Which would be easier if the animation would run in fullscreen. dammit :(

The old front page is still available at static.gog.com, and I've backed up the resources that play a part in the animation, but I can't make it work locally. It behaves as if I'd blocked cookies, getting stuck on the VonBraun spinning logo. I really want to have this as a desktop.

Hey this is quite cool, but im curious to know what you're suppose to do with it!

Bring back active desktop and have it as your wallpaper, animation and all?

I thought active desktop was removed from windows 7...

I think it was removed even by Vista and maybe even XP. That was why I said to bring it back. Or find another shell replacement which allows it to run HTML.

But considering the amount of resources the animation took in a browser I'm not sure I'd like it always running in the background.
