First time posting on the forum and I would appreciate any help that is offered. I recently installed system shock 2 on my computer along with the universal patch and the ss2tool 5.1 patch as well. So far the game menu and sound runs pretty much flawless and my mouse cursor works as well. So I go to close the game and a few seconds later my screen is glitching out and the resolution and desktop display is scattered everywhere. If I do a shutdown or reset it fixes the problem just fine, but I only encounter this problem so far just shutting down the game after booting it up.

I currently use 1600x900 resolution on my 20 inch LG widescreen monitor. Here's the rest of my system specs.

any other games doing this? try to update the gpu driver.
For some reason my ATI driver rolled back to 13.1 version (wtf?). Well I updated it to the newest version and seemed to fix the problem. Thanks for the help!
