I know these Fanmods have been mentioned in two other thread, but I think they deserve an own thread, in case someone missed them.

After finishing System Shock 2 you can continue the story on Ponterbee Station and if you survive that, the UNN Nightwalker is waiting for you.

You can use a mod loader to play them. But the GoG installation is also already mod-ready. Just unzip a mod into the DataPermanentMods folder and start the game. To uninstall you just delete the contents of that folder. Another note: these Fanmissions work well with the SHTUP and the SS2_Rebirth mods, which improve the graphics quality as most of you will know already.

Is this still true? I thought GoG removed SS2Tool from their install. My understanding is DataPermanentMods was a folder created by the old SS22Tool, but I haven't re-installed the GoG version recently.

Well for me it worked. But I got SS2 quite soon after it's release here on GoG (so, not really very long ago). I don't know whether they changed it since then.
