Alright, it doesn't crash with the hot key or if you drag the ammo to the weapon. It only seems to crash when I click the ammo change arrow icon next to the weapon.

ok, so just use that for now.

Well, thanks voodoo, I hadn't realized there was a hotkey for that so yeah, I'll just use that for now. Is a shame though, I do like using the interface to change the ammo, I think it's neat. This is my first time playing through it so I'm glad there's a workaround for it.

well, it does not crash for everyone (I couldn't crash it), so aparently it's and edge case scenario. no software is perfect.

I also have this issue when toggling ammo type via the HUD.

There also may be a related crash when using Alt-T to remove teleport markers - it results in a 100% replicable crash for me.

Anyone else have this issue?

After a few more tries, there are rare instances when the game runs fine even when alt-t or ammo toggle are used. No idea why, but seems to be related to how the game launches.

Let me know if you need any additional crash dumps to help you identify the issue.

Just giving this a bump to front page since it seems like one of the more common unresolved issues with the vanilla game.

It's also super easy to replicate, so if anyone has either of the following two issues:

1) crashing when pressing change ammo button on UI.
2) crashing when removing teleport markers (alt-t).

Interestingly enough, this bug sounds like it's one of the things fixed with the just released NewDark update.

not as unsurprising as it may look - remember, there has been a hotfix right after the first release when a quite annoying Dromed bug has been discovered on the TTLG forum, so there is a pretty good chance that the Mystery Man is (still) watching, flying on the Raven's wings.
