Berzerk2002:
Getting this shit, after booting the game and starting new campaign

"A fatal error has occurred in System Shock. Error code 16391. File error: Error creating initial game - likely insuficient disk space."

Honestly, will I get this fucking game working on my computer, or will every subsequent patch break it?

Must be a problem on your end. The game is running absolutely flawless (mods included).

Got any idea? I tried just about anything to get it to work

Since I don't know your system the answer is no.

Had the same problem, apparently the game doesn't like non-latin symbols in your windows profile name, so making a new windows profile with latin-only symbols worked for me, although it's quite annoying to switch every time I want to play SS1.

Weird that in 2020 there is STILL no cyrrilic support, but that's how it is I guess.

as mentioned on discord, the non-support for special characters is rooted deep, deep inside the game engine/data, adding it would be extremely non-trivial.

I see, that explains it then.
A shame though that it's still an issue, but alright.

Nice. Thanks for keeping up the improvement of this game
The latest 1.2.16 offline installer keeps saying it is corrupted. Have downloaded it multiple times.

Same with me, seems someone fucked it up.
Don't suppose there's a way of downloading the previous version of the offline installer?
Its fixed now.
