So, when I move my mouse fast in-game, SW starts to lag like no tomorrow and go batshit crazy ?
Also, there are HUGE fps drops while explosions are on screen.
I've tried the Windows port but didn't like it since the mouse is all laggy and pretty much unresponsive unlike here, where it's silky smooth and the overall performance is superior (minus those couple of annoying things which break the game :c )

Sorry for the long post and my crappy english. I'm taking all advices in (giggity) since this is probably my third favourite game of all time! >__<

Have you tried increasing DOSBox cycles (speeds up the emulation), by pressing CTRL-F12 several times? Does this reduce the lagging?

I'm afraid not :(

EDIT: Ok, the performance is now normal. I switched the graphic mode to "Direct3D" but the screen in-game is really small no matter what conf I use?

Switch it to OpenGL. OpenGlide might run better.

Open the game's conf file with any text editor and edit as follows:

fullscreen=true
fullresolution=original
output=opengl

For graphics enhancements up to your preference edit:
scaler=

Possible values are: none, normal2x, normal3x, advmame2x, advmame3x, advinterp2x, advinterp3x, hq2x, hq3x, 2xsai, super2xsai, supereagle, tv2x, tv3x, rgb2x, rgb3x, scan2x, scan3x
and they look like this:

sorry I forgot to mention: Switching from OpenGL to another option made the performance much better, but the screen stays very small no matter what. This is quite odd to be honest.
I quess this game just doesn't handle very well :X

E: I'll try those methods
