I notice that I get significant slowdown whenever there are multiple explosions or I have a lot of followers, does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I know the game was originally like that back in the day, so it's possibly hardwired into the code or whatever, limitations of the time etc.

(Yeah, not too much help unfortunately, but at least it's not an artifact of the emulation).

Oh well. I've pretty much gotten used to it now anyway, tbh. Thanks for answering :)
