I am a fan of the original Syndicate, and while I am sad that 'American Revolt' is not part of GOG's offer, I accept that as it is. I do hope the situation might change one day, and perhaps they'd allow folks to either get the add-on then as additional content free for those who bought the game, or sell the 'plus' version (possibly with a reduction of cost to those who own the original game already?) later.
But it sounds like the issue isn't with GOG but EA, and frankly while I believe GOG does a great job in bringing old classics to life, EA has its current track record as a reminder.
I fiddle with Dosbox and have Syndicate & American Revolt on that, but the 'abandonware' edition is pretty creaky and suffers from problems like forgetting where its saves are, or refusing to save at all. Which is why I prefer to simply buy the GOG's version which a) works and b) cost's a small amount I am willing to pay to enjoy nostalgia of this great game.
Just my thoughts.
