Syndicate didn't feature that did it? That was a feature of Syndicate Wars, for sure, but I don't remember destroying buildings in Syndicate.

No destructible terrain in the original whatsoever.

There are sometimes a lot of explosions due to the timebombs and carcrashes. But there are no destructable buildings.
