Please no spoilers, hints are lovely, but if i get too dumb, spoilers may be needed.
I already know about the numbers and stuff on the rigt side...
No spoilers, just hints, right ?

The pilot still has his earphones.
You say you figured out the two numbers in the plane's panel, right ? A radio call frequency maybe ?
Maybe if you broadcast something on the pilot's radio call frequency he'll pick it up on his earphones ? There's a tower around there somewhere, right ?

Now im at the part where i have to enter the coordinates... what im doing is: going to the satilite, (i moved the satilite) and im reading the the radar. im pausing it wen the dot shows up, and im jotting down the coordinates. But the dot is soo off center. wa i got is 15-20/80-85 and there are many many possibilities for that... am i going about this rightly? lol

Yes, you're doing fine, except the coordinates of the blip on the monitor are kinda hard to read, but since you're close enough... it's 80/20
